John Moran is a politically and socially engaged hot glass sculptor, mixed media artist, co-founder of Gent Glas, and all around nice guy. He is an American currently living and working in Ghent, Belgium. He has travelled immensely across Europe and spent a year and a half living in China in 2004. Though he does not consider himself an academic, he has the accolades that say otherwise. He attained his BFA from Tyler School of Art, MFA from Illinois State University, and in 2021, his PhD from The Geppert Academy of Art and Design. He enjoys traveling, talking about art, good food, and drinks with friends. In 2022, Moran competed in Blown Away Season 3, Netlfix’s competitive, glassblowing, reality tv show and came out victorious. Since the release of the show, he has travelled and exhibited extensively while managing and maintaining Gent Glas.

Elliot Walker is a sculptor working with molten glass as his primary medium. He studied glass making in the Historic Glass Quarter of Stourbridge, UK, where he developed his foundational skills. He continued to establish himself as a maker and an artist while working for glass legend Peter Layton as part of the London Glass Blowing studio team. Walker competed in and won Season 2 of Blown Away and has since built his own studio/gallery next to the historic Glass Cone in Stourbridge, along with his partner and sidekick Bethany Wood (founder of Blowfish Glass and Gallery). Walker continues to create complex sculptural work and unique works for highly visible brands and clientele.

John Sharvin has been working in glass since late 2008. He graduated from The Ohio State University in 2012 with a BFA in glass. After working around Columbus for a few years he moved to Pittsburgh to work as a Tech Apprentice at Pittsburgh Glass Center. He worked full time at the Pittsburgh Glass Center as the Studio Technician Manager until 2022 when he appeared on Blown Away Season 3. After his success in the competition, Sharvin has pursued his career as a studio artist, creating commissioned work for clients and exhibiting and Demonstrating across the United States.

Minhi England is a Seattle based artist working primarily in glass and metal. She earned her BFA from Alfred University, where she fell in love with glass and shifted her 2D practice to sculpture. After graduating in 2010, she has been working as a professional glassblower and designer at numerous studios throughout the greater Seattle area. In 2022, England was the runner up for Season 3 of Blown Away. After her success in the competition, she has continued to pursue her artistic career. She has exhibited and demonstrated across the United States and most recently in Ireland as part of the Irish Design Week.
